Does my account have shell or SSH access?

No, Mean Servers does not allow SSH or shell access on shared web hosting accounts. This is primarily for security and privacy reasons as there is no 100% fool proof way of offering shell or SSH access in a shared environment. Since the very nature of shared web hosting is the sharing of resources, allowing SSH or shell access to individuals can cause security and privacy concerns for other clients. The security and privacy of all clients is of the utmost importance to Mean Servers, if you require SSH or shell access, we highly recommend choosing a Mean Servers VPS plan instead of shared hosting.
