1.) Login to your server as root
2.) Install the ntp program using yum:
yum -y install ntp3.) Start ntp by running the following:
service ntpd restart4.) Ensure ntp starts automatically with your server by running the following command:
chkconfig ntpd on
Your server will now automatically stay synchronized with the atomic clock! No other changes are necessary and as long as the ntpd service is running, your server will periodically contact an atomic clock server for an update.
